If you clicked on the photo to enlarge it, you were probably able to spot the teeny tiny fish just below the center of the picture. It's some kind of a Goby -- with incredibly big eyes for his size (about a half-inch long!).The coral is of the genus Favites -- one of several kinds of coral commonly referred to as "brain coral." I took this photo in the Red Sea, near Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.Happy WW!Bobbie
Haha, you've got to see this video.Enjoy!!><)))'>_ndg
Amazing adaptation. You can barely see that little fish. Happy WW....we're definately melting here. We reached a balmy 46 degrees!!!!
I found it!! It's almost invisible, except for the eyes. I think brain corals are common in the Philippines but I have never seen it like this close - very close! Great shot once again, Bobbie, and thanks for visiting earlier :)
My first comment when I saw this photo was: Woowwwww...I think I spotted the little fish.Great Photo!
Excellent camouflage. I couldn't find him at all until I enlarged the picture.
Musta been a fish called `Wander'!!!
Great W.W. and a puzzle included!!Thanks for stoppin' by and the comment.
That is so cool. I didnt see it until you said to look for it:) Happy WW and thanks for stopping by.
Wow! I could see the little eyes even without the enlargement. Great photos. I'd love to dive the Red Sea. I hear it is fabulous.
How in the world did you find this little fishie? Oh, I know, it was swimming around and was plain as Red Sea light. You went halfway around the world to see this creature.Happy WW! Thank you, Bobbke, for your visit...BTW, have you seen this set of pictures (the owner misspelled 'swimming'):http://pets.webshots.com/album/475700751RQgPiX..
Kinda of a "find Waldo" theme haha - is it the 2 little eyes??I s'pose you have that turtle on your blog already huh...the one I posted yesterday? Probably. I'm gonna go see.Happy ww :)
Found it!Great photo, the close-up texture the coral is quite interesting.
The question is did you know the fish was there when you took the picture or did you only notice him when you looked at the pictures later?Happy WW!
That's a very little fishy! And brain coral? Why brain? Happy WW! :)
Found it right away even though it's minuscule. Great picture!
I thought I could see him fine until I enlarged the picture, to learn that I'd only seen his eyes and vitals, and he's over twice the length I had first estimated.
What a great picture! And yes, you can find the fish easily because of those big eyes. :-)Happy WW, and thanks for stopping by!My post...
Nothing like living coral. Beautiful shot, love the fish.

I found him, I found him!!! It was his eyes that gave him away.Happy WW

I see him. What great camouflage. I wouldn't have seen him but for the eyes! Nice one, Bobbie.
The texture is crazy in this Bobbie, great capture !!
He really blends!
Thank you all for visiting and for playing 'find the fish'. :-D@ Neutral - Yep, that sure is a funny video, but we beat you to it.
